See How This Was Made
January of 2021 was one of the first times we had actually left the house since Covid had started, (other than our daily masked walk around our neighborhood), and we were driving to Santa Monica get donuts. I saw a road sign engulfed in flowers on the side of the road and asked my husband to pull over. I got out and snapped a photo of the sign on my iPhone, knowing already what I was going to change the text to.
I brought it into Photoshop, edited the sign to get a clean base and typed out a sentiment I was really feeling at the height of the pandemic: “Everything will be okay (probably)”. Then I edited the colors to add some optimism to the piece. This design will always remind me of a time where the world was filled with such uncertainty, but still we had hope. 💛
